What I'm clumsily trying to say is that here's a blog what I made whilst I should've been doing something better and that if you're reading it then you should be doing something better too. Also, the fact that you and I have the time and resources to respectively make and read this gumpf is why the World is so screwed.

I've read some terrible things about diamonds really... virtually none of the diamonds that are sold in this country are conflict free or are not from areas that have problems with child labour, anti-union activities, abuse of women and other horrible stuff.

Scrubs
Only the funniest TV programme to come out of America. Great characters, incredibly 'quotable' (and I do... a lot) and really good music too.

ER
Hooked after watching the final twenty minutes of a particularlydramatic episode (Dr. Ross saves a kid from a flooding storm drain) I've never recovered. Just bought my first box set.... it begins lol.

Futurama - (unofficial fansite)
Okay so we had the Simpsons and it was good... then they just kept making them and making them and making them. Then Matt Groening made something new and fresh and more importantly, hilarious! If only they'd diverted half the effort from making hundreds of seasons of the Simpsons into Futurama perhaps it would still be on the air. Here's hoping for possible new episodes!

Spaced - (unofficial fansite)
Quirky, loaded with references from just about everything and very very funny. Spaced helped place Simon Pegg, Mark Heap and Nick Frost at the top of the royal family of British comedy thanks and deservedly so. Highly recommended if you like well written comedy!

Stargate SG-1
Yeah... I'm a bit of a nerd then. Is it worse than being a trekkie? Probably... cos I love star trek too lol. The concept and histories they deal with make SG-1 standout to me... plus Teal'c kicks ass.

Sopranos
This is my outlet for violence and swearing on TV... and of course, there's plenty of both. The characters are great though and it can often be quite funny. There is something disturbingly cool about hearing Tony calling someone a 'mother fucker' whilst strangling them... I can be a little low brow I guess.
